Charlie Kirk (1993-2025) was a conservative activist, media figure and organizer who founded Turning Point USA in 2012. He built a large following among young conservatives, combining evangelical Christian nationalism, Trump-aligned “MAGA” ideology, and provocative rhetoric on culture wars, immigration, election integrity, abortion, and free speech. On September 10, 2025, he was tragically assassinated while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University.
